Our History & Future

The Pinal Air Park was originally built in 1942 as the Marana Army Air Field. During WWII it served as a training command center, supporting west coast operations as part of the 50,000 Pilot Training Program.

The facility was decommissioned in 1948 and taken over by Pinal County, which subsequently leased it to various tenants during the Vietnam War. Notable tenants included Air America, Continental Air Services, and Intermountain Airlines, which used to supply operations in Southeast Asia.

Our maintenance center boasts over 35 years of operation since Evergreen Aviation acquired the lease of the property in the late 1970’s. In May 2011, private investors acquired the facility and re-named and revitalized the company as Marana Aerospace Solutions.

With a renewed focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction, Marana Aerospace Solutions is committed to expanding key operational capabilities, such as the recent addition of service for the entire Airbus A320 aircraft family.

Additional growth, investments in the latest training, tools and technology for our technicians, expanding our customer base, and building on our extensive range of service offerings across heavy maintenance, overhaul, repair and storage will ensure Marana Aerospace Solution’s continued tradition of excellence to our worldwide customers.
