Marana Aerospace Solution’s airport (Pinal Air Park – MZJ) is located along a multi-modal transportation route that includes multiple major interstate roadways, air transportation including air freight, and railways that link the east and west coasts. Pinal Air Park is located in Marana, Arizona and has the benefit of being located within 100 miles of Phoenix Sky Harbor international airport and 40 miles of Tucson International Airport allowing international customers a number of choices for airline travel and timely customs processes.

Facilities

  • Marana Aerospace Solution’s 1200 acre facility includes: three hangars, aircraft parking, aircraft wash/strip facility, workshops for structures, component overhaul, avionics, composites, machining, heat treat, welding and metrology. The largest hangar can accommodate multiple narrow body aircraft and can completely house a Boeing 747-400 series aircraft.
  • The facility has over 460 acres of aircraft maintenance flightline space that can be configured to accommodate up to 20 wide body aircraft in various stages of operations including A and B Checks, Bridging Checks, Modification Programs, Testing, Short-Term Parking and Extended Parking.

Climate

Marana, Arizona has a desert climate, with two major seasons, summer and winter; plus three minor seasons: fall, spring, and the monsoon. The southwest desert is an ideal climate for aircraft maintenance and storage operations boasting greater than 300 days of sunshine per year with an average temperature of 70F and very low humidity. Mild winter weather enhances our ability to work outdoors while many U.S. MRO facilities are at risk of ice and snow related delays.
